If you are coming from Downtown Berkeley, the train ride will take approx. 25 minutes. Upon exiting the station, please walk toward the Ferry Building. You will find Embarcadero Plaza to your left just before crossing The Embarcadero outside the Ferry Building. Our team will be waiting for you there!
We recommend that you take the BART train leaving Downtown Berkeley at 2:04 or 2:24 PM to make sure you're on time. Trains run every 20 minutes on the weekend. Please check Google Maps for live updates to the timetable on the day of the event. We will wait in Embarcadero Plaza for up to 30 minutes for students running late so please still come even if you miss your train, but keep in mind that the hunt will begin at 3 PM and that a late start may put your team at a disadvantage.
Note that you will need to load money onto your Clipper Card in order to use BART as your AC Transit EasyPass does not cover the BART network. You can do so using the ticket machines at any BART station. A single fare from Downtown Berkeley to Embarcadero is $4.75 so we recommend that you put at least $10 on your Clipper Card to cover your return trip to San Francisco.
